Michael Orville (Andy) Andrews

Our beloved father, husband, brother and dear friend unexpectedly returned to his heavenly father on February 4, 2018.

Andy was born November 4, 1948 to Beverly Ruth Phelps-Andrews and Orville Earl Andrews in Long Beach California. In 1957 they moved to Ogden Utah, where he attended Ogden High School, graduating class of 1966.

Andy was married to Georgia Andrews in 1977 and with her he had two beautiful children, Lori and Michael Scott. Both of whom were the apple of his eye and with whom he loved very dearly.

Andy was employed by the Jerry Seiner family in the parts dept. for 25 years. Through networking and hours spent on the phone he had developed many lasting friendships. Many of his acquaintances started out as customers but ended as friends.

On February 23, 1997 Andy married Jeneal Tuft and has spent the last 21 years with the love of his life doing the things they enjoyed. Bowling was a great passion in his life as he also loved tying flies and then trying them out while floating on the river with his buddies, Andy loved to camp whether it was in a trailer or roughing it in a tent, often on a whim he’d tell everyone to pack a bag “let’s go”. Amongst some of his passions he loved to get away and do his gardening, teasing the grandchildren and his fur babies. No one will ever forget his sarcastic sense of humor with infectious laugh and great taste of the genres of music.

The holidays were his special time of the year and he always accented the house with the lights and décor for the season. He loved Christmas and the desserts that went along with them, he has also been know on occasions to dress up in his Santa suit for the kids.

Andy was a devout member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was serving as secretary for the elders Quorum at the time of his passing.

Andy is preceded in death by his parents, grandparent(s) and 2 grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Jeneal Andrews; daughter Lori Davies (Mike), son Michael Andrews (Erica), sister Vicki Dowdle (Rick), step children Wes, Aaron (Lisa), Justin (Sabrina), Tamara (Lee), and Michelle. He has 19 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, all of us are going to miss him dearly.

A viewing will be held at the Lakeridge 1st ward on Friday, February 9th from 6:00- 8:00 pm, and Saturday February 10th at 10:00 am. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am.
