Peggy Virginia Wilcox Weathers

Peggy Virginia Wilcox Weathers, 81, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 following a long illness. Born December 31, 1937, in Lark/Bingham Canyon, Utah, she was the daughter of William Leroy Wilcox and Margaret Peart Wilcox. Besides her parents, Peggy was predeceased by Brother, Sherman A. Wilcox, Sisters; Myrlene J. Wilcox Burke and Karen L. Wilcox, Daughters; Jodi Jean Miyagishima and Teresa Kim Miyagishima Deal. Peggy married and divorced Russel T. Miyagishima who passed away
August 6, 2011.


Peggy attended Nursing School at Weber State University and worked in several Rehabilitation Health Care Facilities and Medical Care Facilities in California and Utah throughout her career. Peggy loved cooking, gardening, reading, gambling, crafts, jewelry making, fishing, camping, boating, and traveling with Family. Peggy was known for generously giving what she had to family and friends in need. Peggy was strong in her Catholic beliefs. Peggy’s sense of humor had a way of brightening your day and would make you feel everything would be okay. Peggy always had a song and a joke that would
make you smile.


Survivors include her daughters Rushell Bevan (Lanny) and Michelle Weathers and Sons Kent Miyagishima (Sonny) and Michael Miyagishima (Theresa). Peggy was blessed with 21 Grandchildren and numerous Great and Great Great Grandchildren.
Friends and Family are welcome to a Grave Side Service on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 12:00 Noon at Mt. Olivet Cemetery located at 1342 East 5th South, Salt Lake City, Utah 84102. A luncheon will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Golden Corral located 3399 W. 3500 S., West Valley City, Utah 84119.


Her smile and laughter will truly be missed.
