Robert James Smith, age 84, passed away August 18, 2017. He was born May 23, 1933 to James Ray Smith and Pearl Marie Margetts. Bob’s life was full of accomplishments. He was an educator, an author, an entrepreneur, a life-long
student, a comedian, a musician, and a loyal friend.
He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and sister Carolyn. He is survived by his four sons, Rennie (Kara), Scottie (Becky), Davie (Nancy), and Bobbie (Gail); his three daughters, Wendi, Heidi (Dale), and Carri (Noel); and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday August 23, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Elysian Burial Gardens located at 1075 East College St (4580 South). In lieu of flowers, monetary donations to assist in funeral expenses can be given to Jennifer Thomson.
