Sean Nicholas Heaps 1987 - 2022

Our Beloved Sean was Born in Salt Lake City on July 1st 1987 and left us to be an angel on November 13th 2022. Sean is survived by his Mom Lisa Foote and Step Dad Guy Foote in Salt Lake City Utah, (3 siblings) Aaron David Heaps in Taylorsville Utah, Cory Alan Heaps in Las Vegas Nevada, and Tarah Elaine Heaps in Taylorsville Utah. Nephews and Nieces, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Proceeded in death by his Father David Alan Heaps and both sets of Grandparents.

Sean conquered a lot of challenges in his life including homelessness and drug addiction. A lot of the life challenges that Sean faced made him a stronger individual. Sean was passionate about helping others and would give anyone the shirt off his back. One of his favorite things to do was create care packages and pass them out to the homeless downtown. He was especially passionate about raising Awareness on Drug and Alcohol abuse. Sean attended the Other Side Academy in Salt Lake City Utah. He spoke on several podcasts including Podcast Coffee Talk. He even started writing a self help book which will later be completed and published by his Partner and other Half (Zachary Barnes)

Sean Graduated from Cottonwood High-school in 2005. He was involved in Drama and loved the stage. He performed in several plays, Oliver Twist being one of his favorites. Sean always had strong career goals and aspirations. He was a General Manager in Hospitality, Coach and Supervisor in customer care, and he always worked in Detox and Recovery.

Sean met the LOVE OF HIS LIFE (Zachary Robert Barnes) in November of 2019 and a year later on Thanksgiving of 2020 He Proposed With family surrounding him. Sean was a huge family oriented person, he loved family get togethers of any sort. He spent the summers camping, barbecuing, and loved to travel. One of his favorite trips was taking the train to Denver Colorado with his Fiancé and the love of his life. Seans hobbies included; Coin collecting, Hiking,Paddle Boarding, Rollerblading, Rock and Stone Collecting, and anything outdoors.

We love you so much and you will be missed by so many. Fly home Seany Bird may we all meet again someday.

Memorial for Sean will be on Saturday December 3rd 2022 prompt at 1:00PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located 8350 South Jackson Street, Midvale, UT. 84047. A celebration of life will follow in the spring with a later date to be announced.
