Sondra Jane Neizer
Sondra passed away on December 20, 2019 in North Salt Lake, Utah at the age of 78. She passed from complications due to Cancer at home with her Son Ron and daughter Melissa by her side. Sondra was born on December 29, 1940 to Roy and Edna Pierson who preceded her in death along with her son David Neizer and her brother Nathan “Chuck” Pierson.
She was a longtime resident in the Seattle, Washington area which was home for her for many years. In 1988 she relocated to the Salt Lake City, Utah area to care for her Mother and became home in her more recent years.
Sondra enjoyed the outdoors and family camping trips. Another love of hers was traveling through the Cascade Mountains and the beautiful scenery that it provided. Going to the ocean shores of Westport, Washington was another favorite pastime. Christmas time was her favorite time of year and she especially enjoyed shopping in Bellevue and downtown Seattle with all the festive Holiday decorations.
She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed by many. There will always be that special place in our hearts for Sondra that will forever remain.
Sondra is survived by her son Ronald Neizer (Vickie Brown, Jamie Chavez), daughter Melissa Hoffmann, grandchildren Chelsea Edler, Abigail Edler, Saxon Edler, Baylee Edler , Chris Neizer, Angela Johnson, Ashley Neizer and Robert Neizer as well as numerous other family members and dear friends.
