Evan Peter Richmond passed away unexpectedly, due to complications of coronary artery disease, on November 1st, 2018 in St. George, Utah, age 49.

Evan was born, December 17th, 1968, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Brenda Lee “Randy” Wiscomb and Peter Mack “Skip” Lowe, Jr. His mother, Randy, later married Leonard Ray Richmond, who adopted Evan and his siblings. Evan grew up in the Millcreek area of Salt Lake City, graduated from Olympus High School in 1987, and attended the University of Utah, studying Latin and linguistics. Evan was very pleased to be called and served a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints mission to Medellin, Columbia, then transferred to San Antonio, Texas, due to civil unrest in Columbia. He married Alicia Covili in the Salt Lake City temple in 1993, divorced in 2016. Alicia and Evan celebrated the birth of each of their four children Coleton (19), who is currently serving Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Mission in Phoenix Az, Chloe (17), Liam (14) and Quinn (10).

Evan enjoyed the great pleasure of his fatherhood! He is remembered by his children as an attentive and encouraging father supporting them through many surgeries, interests and activities. He loved to cook with them, watch movies, play games, go ice skating and just “hang out”. He also enjoyed traveling internationally with his children, as they learned about diverse customs and cultures.

Evan is survived by his children Coleton, Chloe, Liam & Quin; natural father Skip Lowe; father Leonard Richmond; grandmother Martha Lowe; grandfather Wayne Wiscomb; brothers, David, Mike, and Ian, and sister, Chelsi; many in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Evan is preceded in death by his mother, Randy Richmond; grandmother Helen Wiscomb; grandfather Peter Lowe Sr.; uncle Wayne Wiscomb; uncle Tom “Oly” Olson; grandparents Betty and James Richmond; and aunt Brenda Richmond.

Welcoming attendance to Evan's memorial scheduled for Saturday, November 10th, 11:00 AM, at the Holladay 10th ward, 4601 S Chapel Drive, Holladay Utah.
