LaRue Mussatt passed away November 3, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. Survived by her husband, Howard Turner, son Zachary James Mussatt (Jennifer), granddaughter Ava Mussatt, mother Katie Blevins, sisters Chris (Ralph) Sanich and Tara (Gust) Kalatzes. Preceded in death by her husband James Mussatt.
LaRue enjoyed her life doing the things she loved to do, playing softball in her youth, then moving on to fishing and camping. She was an avid bowler and very proud of her bowling average. She did crossword puzzles every day she could for almost all of her adult life. She wanted to keep her mind strong. She loved her home and was constantly working either in the house or in the yard. It seemed like she had endless energy and enthusiasm for any project that meant improving her home or yard!
LaRue was a great friend. She would do anything for her friends and loved having them come and visit. Everyone was always welcome in her home and in her heart. She loved sitting on the deck in the back yard and pointing out the most recent flowers that were blooming or the humming birds. She loved animals and her dog Archer was beside her as much as possible with a toy to entice her to play.
A special thank you to the Hospice team and especially to Howard for caring for her so lovingly.
