Fa'amoana Uta'i

Fa'amoana Uta'i, 85, of West of Valley City, Utah passed away peacefully surrounded by his children and grandchildren on Friday September 2nd, 2016 at 11:35 am mst. at the Intermountain hospital in Murray Utah.  

Fa'amoana was born in Sa'aga Siumu Upolu Samoa on April 20, 1931. He is preceded in death by his Parents Uta'i Fa'amoana and Salema Olo-Uta'i and also by his wife Iaeli Mauga-Uta'i. Fa'amoana was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Fa'amoana is survived by his 7 children; Moli Uta'i (Elisapeta)  Aliitasi Tauanu'u (Tusitala) Manuvae Uta'i (Joyce) Fa'amoana A. Uta'i (Tiesha) Simativa Uta'i, Francis Uta'i (Christina) Norma Uta'i-Sini (Joseph) Faamoana has 28 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services to celebrate our fathers life will be on Thursday September 8th, 2016 at 10 am at Lancer Way Ward located at 3963 south Peachwood Drive. West Valley City, Utah 84119. Burial services will follow at the Redwood Memorial Mortuary at 6500 south Redwood Road. Salt Lake City, Utah 84123
