Harry B. Jackson, Sr. was born on March 16, 1934 to Berestful W, and Ruth Jackson (who preceded him in death) in Chicago, Illinois.
He attended and graduated from Shoop Elementary and Morgan Park High Schools and continued his education at Delaware State College. There he met and later married his first wife , Esther who also preceded him in death. They became the proud parents of Harry, Jr. and Leah.
On Friday, March 8, 2018, Harry left this earth for a better place. He leaves fond memories in the hearts of his wife Pamala, his son and daughter, Harry, Jr. and Leah. His grandchildren, Mia, Brian, Jasmine, David, his great children and his sister Ruth A. James, other relatives and friends.
Children and young adults often enjoyed conversations with him because of his wisdom and wit. Harry was the source of wisdom, compassion and strength for his family and friends He will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Harry, Sr.’s Life will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018 for close family and friends at the Waterford Estates, 17400 S. Kedzie Ave, Hazel Crest, IL 60429.
