In loving memory of Joan Louise Wilson known to family and friends as " Joanie" passed away Friday February 9, 2018 after a courageous battle with Lymphoma Cancer. She fought until the very end. Her family and friend were by her side. She was 52 years old.
Joanie was an amazing woman. She was a loving wife, mother, and best friend a person could ever have. Joanie was the type of person that would give you her last dollar if you needed it. She was an awesome listener and a good shoulder to cry on. She never judged.
Joanie will be lovingly remembered by her husband and friend of 13 years Rick Wilson. Her children Kristina Robertson and her spouse Joel, Joshua Dawley and his wife Ashley, and Christopher Dawley. Her best friend of 32 years, Stephanie Young. Also her sisters Ann Marie Kesteloot, Vicky Kesteloot Allsbrooks and her brother Tom Kesteloot. Joanie will also be fondly missed by her grandkids Taylor, Brody, and Ryder Robertson, Aidan and new baby on the way Dawley, and Landon Dawley. Also William D and Joan Wilson, Chris Winnett, Tori Dumas, Bill and Marie Wilson, Robbie Wilson, and Steph, Sammie, Jessica, and Michael Wilson.
Joanie is being reunited with her parents that have already passed, Victor Kesteloot and Marilyn Kesteloot, and all the other angels that waited for her return.
Goodnight for now my love, my mom, my friend until we see you again....
The family would like to thank all the caregivers and nurses that helped care for Joanie during her hospital stays but especially the caregivers that were there during her last days on earth. You helped her and us more than you will ever know. God Bless you all.
Joanie's viewing will be on Wednesday February 14, 2018 at 5:00 pm at Kramer Family Funeral Home 2500 S. Decker Lake Blvd. West Valley, Utah 84119. We invite family and friends to come celebrate Joanie's life and say our last goodbye to her.
