Michael Charles Williford

Michael Charles Williford was born October 10, 1947, and died November 10, 2021, due to complications from COVID-19. The family wishes to thank the University of Utah Hospital’s MICU staff for their care and support.

Mike served in the Navy, stationed in San Diego. In Vietnam, he guarded the DMZ and patrolled the waterways in destroyer-class vessels. He also worked as a machinist, and retired from long-haul truck driving.

He married Karen Edvalson, later divorced. He and Virginia Williford were married for 40 years. He was a father to Janette (Brad) and Sean (Heather), and grandfather to Josh, Jaiden, Braden (Alison) and Ariana. He also leaves behind his dear friends Michael and George Kourianos. To all of his neighbors at St. Mark’s Towers, thank you for your friendship and know that Missy is being well taken care of.
