Thomas John Ward ,
Born on September 11th ,1948 and Raised in Farmington Utah by his Step dad. At the Young age of 18, he joined the Army , during Vietnam , to get away from his Step dad , who wasn't so kind to him as a child growing up. He served Roughly 3 years in the Army as a Switch Board operator. Later then worked for the Civil Service, for about 7 years. Afterwards he worked odd jobs to get by and pay the bills. He Married Paula Woodford later in life and had a child by the Name of Dallas. Thomas and Paula got divorced shortly afterwards. Roughly 4 years later after the birth of Dallas in 1983 , Paula had a son named Shaun , who was later Adopted by a family out of St. George Utah , around the year 2,000. Thomas Had struggled with his health the last 10 years of his life, he had stomach surgery around 2,011 and was in the Va Hospital for 13 months, with his son Dallas by his side. After Thomas got out of Surgery , he was told that his wound should heal within about 12 months, that never happened. Thats when the slow decline of his health had begun. Thomas always had a love for Western Attire, Movies, Music, and Tv shows. He also had a strong passion for muscle cars, which included talking about them and reading bout them either in magazines or books. He loved telling everybody his crazy stories about when he was a kid , and would raise a little trouble. He had a very big smile and good heart. Even when thomas was having a hard day , you could tell that just a visit from his son and his Grand Daughter , that would "perk", him right up and brighten his day. Moving from care center to care center was kinda rough on him, but family tried to cheer him up and let him know that they would go see him , wherever he was just to spend time with him . His big unselfish heart, and loving soul, will always be remebered and never forgoten. His Son , Dallas was their the final evening of his life,giving him all the love he could, never knowing exactly when Thomas would pass away. Approximately 9 hours after his son had left visiting him ,Thomas Passed away on Wednesday ,September 30th , 2,020 , at approximately 3 am, at the young age of 72 , in his Care Facilty "Spring Creek Health Care". He was well cared for by his nurses and doctors their, the last few months of his life. He is Survived by his loving son Dallas, step son Shaun, and Grand Daughter Braelynn. His Urns will be kept with the Family, to always remember him and share his love with anybody who asks about him .
