Timothy Arnold Purser

On Saturday May 18th, 2019, Timothy Arnold Purser (Father, Grandfather, and Friend) passed away at the age of 69. Tim will be forever remembered by his children: Corina Lynn Gehring and Tek Jeremy Purser (Bonnie), and his 5 grandchildren: Felicity, Gavin, Isabelle, Preston, and Brianna. He will also be remembered by his cousins, extended family, dear friends, and his dog Arliss. A service or celebration of life will be held on June 2nd, 2019 at 2:00 pm at his home (7021 S. 5490 W. West Jordan Utah). Tim was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on October 1st, 1949. He attended South High School, where he made life long friends. He graduated high school in 1968. He married th love of his life, Brenda Marion Bawden Purser, on October 17th, 1968. They lived in Salt Lake City, Magna, Kearns, and ended up in West Jordan in 1983 where they built their home and raised their family. Tim worked various jobs from Taxi Driver, to Appliance Repair, but he enjoyed working at Kennecott the most, where he made some of his closest friends. He had his own Appliance Repair business, but found his calling as an Electrician at Central Electric. He enjoyed restoring his 1957 Ford Fairlane, going on road trips, building his wind mills, ham radios (call sign WB7CIW), scuba diving, riding his motorcycles, and most of all… flying in his single engine Cessna.
