William Lee (Big Bill) Barsballe

1956 ~ 2021 William L Barsballe "Big Bill" passed away suddenly at the VA hospital on the evening of Saturday, March 20 2021. 

Born October 12, 1956 to Emmett Lee Barsballe, and Isabelle Pauline Laughlin in Indiana. In his youth Bill was a member of The Knights of DeMolay. Bill served in the United States Army and received Medals with an Honorable Discharge, he then went on to work as a Machinist for most of his life. 

Bill was an active member of The Patriot Guard Riders of Utah. He donated to charities such as Make A wish, and Shriners Hospital among other charities, he will be forever remembered and missed by his family, friends, and fellow members of The Patriot Guard. 

He is survived by his son, Sean (Angela) Barsballe; sister, Patricia (Nick) Mayeux; and step-children; Scott, Wendi, and Brandi and their families, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his sister, Linda Vanevanter; brother James; parents, Emmett, and Pauline Barsballe. A Last Ride will be held on May 29, 2021, gathering at American Legion on 3419 S. W Temple, Salt Lake City, UT 84115 at 1pm, with KSU at 3:30pm. Followed by a Wake at 5pm, and ceremony for spreading his ashes, per his wishes at 7pm at American Legion in Huntsville Utah at 604 S 7800 E Huntsville, UT 84317. Please provide the motorcycle escort enough space by keeping a proper distance behind them. All will be welcome.
